2011 Calendar of Sailings Release
This year we have the pleasure of announcing twice as many itineraries with the release of our second ship, Orion II in late May 2011.
Orion II will primarily operate in South East Asia, with a wide range of expeditions that include Borneo, the Inland Sea of Japan, the Russian Far East, Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia. These voyages will offer the same safe, relaxed and rewarding experiences as for Orion but in exciting and exotic new destinations.

Memories of Rabaul
In April this year, pathways guest Sally Stobo travelled the Wild PNG & Bismark Archipelago pathways sailing onboard Orion, along with her mother Joan, and other members of her family. Sally has penned a fascinating re-count of the family’s return to Rabual as seen through her mother Joan’s eyes. Joan and her late husband Montie, who worked for Burns Philp, lived in PNG with her young family for nearly thirty years.
