Orion is purpose built for expeditions, accommodating around 100 guests with 75 or so attentive crew providing for all needs. The ship was designed and built utilising the latest technology of the day to meet or exceed various world environmental and protection management requirements.

Designed to facilitate effective meetings and presentations, and fully-equipped with the latest audio/video, digital and surround sound facilities, including lapel and hand held microphones, Orion's lecture theatre comfortably seats 90. Smaller rooms, such as the Library and lounge areas provide convenient options for groups of 6 to 40. Some areas are Wi-Fi enabled.

Dining options include inside and outside areas. There is a choice of bars, reference library, Jacuzzi, boutique, beauty salon, gymnasium, sauna, spa treatments and lift to all decks.

On the expedition side Orion is equipped with Zodiacs for exploration and high speed support boats. Onboard lectures and information events can also be viewed from the comfort of participant's suites whilst presented live in the theatre or lounge. Shore excursions, headed by the Expedition Team, are an important feature of Orion voyages.

To enhance the onboard experience we can provide qualified expert expedition leaders or speakers - marine biologists, diplomats, artists, historians, distinguished academics, explorers, award winning chefs, ecologists and scientists - to share their specialist knowledge with guests.
